Things To Pray For

The Prayer Points
  1. Pray that you see Angels and Saints. Their visitations shall strengthen and edify you. But, do not spend your time expecting them; you do not know when and how they come.
  2. Pray for religious teachers who are spiritually awake, and are able to explain and demonstrate spiritual realities of life. It is unfortunate that many believers are just at the conversion (repentance) stage, whereas they suppose to have become saints and sons of God, able to experience spiritual and Heavenly aspects of life. There are so many ministers of God, yet not many can lead the church in spiritual life. It is like reaching the foot of a very high mountain and remaining there without climbing to the top of the high mountain to enter the holy, bright and glorious city. The journey is indeed far; the encounter diverse and real; and the experience, both satisfying and worthwhile.
  3. Pray for the peace and unity of all churches of God. This is both necessary and urgent. Peace does not mean all churches should answer one name, or practise in the same way. It means freedom of worship, peaceful co-existence, friendly co-operation instead of competition and antagonism.
  4. Seriously pray for good leaders, who would perform government works like missionaries, who work honestly, diligently and contentedly. Otherwise, many shall pray for prosperity and yet suffer so much hardship and deprivations.
  5. Always pray for peace of mind and joyfulness.
  6. Churches should individually and collectively pray that God send true prophets to help and guide mankind. They are indispensable. And watch out for this: day by day, prophecy shall become more and more relevant and convincing.
  7. A church without prophecy (vision, dreams, oracles, trances, etc) is like a blind woman groping about inside a terrible forest, whereas the road is clear and ennobling to the person who sees. Prophecy provides solutions to problems, brings light in the midst of darkness, ensures resolution of conflicts, and gives useful and meaningful information for decision-making. It brings success and victory.
